Iowa is well represented on the 2010 Inc 5000 list of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the United States.
Twenty-six Iowa-based businesses, including some from Eastern Iowa, made the annual listing.
Involta, a full-service data center in Marion, placed 40th on the 2010 Inc. 5000 list with a three-year sales growth rate of more than 5,438 percent. In the information technology services category, Involta was ranked as the second-fastest growing company in America.
Urbana-based online retailer Clickstop placed 1,122nd with a three-year sales growth rate of 267 percent on the overall list and 57th in the retail category. Clickstop is a multichannel retailer of several specialty category brands
Geonetric, a Web solutions provider for the health care industry with headquarters in northeast Cedar Rapids, made the list for the fourth year in a row and was No. 2,853 on this year’s Inc 5000 list with a three-year sales growth rate of 77 percent.
MD Orthopaedics of Wayland, which manufactures devices for the nonsurgical Ponseti Method of clubfoot treatment, is ranked No. 704 with sales growth from $784,282 in 2006 to $4.2 million in 2009.
TEAM Companies of Cedar Falls, a data services provider in the Upper Midwest, placed 1,371st on the list with a three-year sales growth rate of 212 percent. Arona Corp. of Des Moines, a manufacturer of wood furniture, made the Inc 5000 list at No. 1,618 with a three-year sales growth rate of 177 percent.
TMone of Iowa City, which markets business products and services, is ranked No. 2,280 with three-year sales growth of 111 percent.
Absolute Concrete Construction of Slater made the list at No. 2,310 with three-year sales growth of 109 percent. Alliance Technologiues of Des Moines, which provides information technology services, is ranked No. 2,362 with three-year revenue growth of 105 percent.
Hybrid Transit Systems of Cedar Rapids, which provides freight, shipping, and transportation services over ground, rail, and sea to clients in aviation, food, recycling, manufacturing, and agriculture, was ranked 2,590th with a three-year sales growth rate of 91 percent.
Reining Rose of Cedar Rapids, a manufacturer of natural lip balms and skin care products sold to private label customers, made the list at No. 2,983 with a three-year sales growth rate of 71 percent.
Circle Computer Resources of Cedar Rapids, which provides Internet and computer related services to large and small businesses nationwide, is ranked No. 3,074 with a three-year sales growth rate of 67 percent.
RuffaloCODY of Cedar Rapids, which sells software and services to help non-profits and universities with fundraising, enrollment, and recruitment, made the Inc 5000 list at No. 3,493 with three-year sales growth of 50 percent.
TrueNorth Companies of Cedar Rapids, a full-service insurance and financial strategies firm, is ranked No. 3,994 with three-year sales growth of 33 percent.
