Chili’s adds pay-at-table systems

The Chili’s restaurant franchisee in Coralville and Cedar Rapids has added pay-at-the-table systems to its restaurants.

ERJ Dining LLC added Ziosk touch screen payment systems at each table. The systems also enable guests to see featured items, play games, watch movie trailers, order desserts and take surveys, according to Table Top Media, which offers Ziosk.

Beyond saving guests the wait for a busy server, Table Top Media says the system reduces opportunities for credit card information theft because the credit card never leaves the hands of the account holder.

ERJ Dining, based in Louisville, Ky. is Iowa’s largest Chili’s franchisee. It owns all of the free-standing Chili’s locations in Iowa.
