The Basics:
The first thing you need to do in order to make money in GTA Online is to perform deliveries for others. There are several ways to make money in GTA Online, but the bread and butter of the game is the drug dealing business. In order to get started, you’ll need to complete the initial training mission where you play as a courier and have to make five deliveries in a row. Completing these five deliveries will net you $500, and you can then invest that in the necessary equipment for becoming a full-fledged distributor.
Get A Crew:
The next step is to join a crew. A crew is basically a group of people who work together to complete missions for you. You can have up to five members in your crew, and each person will have a specific role to play in getting the job done.
For example, one member of your crew can be the driver, while another handles the shooting. Everyone has a special skill that you can put to use.
You can apply for a job at the crew management station located in any mission hub. This is where you can assign crews, request additional members, and learn more about the various jobs that you can take on.
Make Money
Now that you’re in crew management, you can go out and start making money. The only thing you need to do is to pull off a series of armed robberies of gas stations and drug dealers’ houses in order to get started.
This will not only allow you to make lots of money, but it will also make you a wanted man or woman. Other players will come after you, and the police will be on your heels constantly. Keep this up, and you’ll soon be making large sums of money regularly.
Missions & Jobs Description:
There are several different types of missions and jobs available in GTA Online. Some are time-sensitive, so you’ll have to act quickly if you want to succeed. Other jobs may seem easy enough, but you should know that they can take a lot of effort to achieve.
For example, you may be asked to smuggle weapons and drugs into a prison. This is a dangerous mission and one that can prove very lucrative, but you’ll have to be prepared to spend a lot of time in the prison in order to complete it. If you want to make a quick buck, skip out on the police and try to find someone with a weaker moral code to do the mission for you.
A common theme among the missions is that you’ll be using your vehicles a lot throughout the game, so it’s important to invest in high-performance cars. In addition, you’ll need to make sure that you have the latest tech, such as the Cell Phone Navigation System or the High-tech Garbage Truck (for those who dare to go big), in order to succeed.
As for the different types of vehicles, you’ll want to invest in at least three different cars, say an office car, a pickup truck, and a van. While you’re at it, why not throw in a motorcycle as well? Don’t worry too much about which type of car you’ll use most frequently, as it will mostly depend on the type of job you’re doing. For example, if you’re in a heist-type of job, you might want to use your van, and if you’re doing an escort mission, you might want to use your pickup truck.
Favorites & Lists:
Now that you’re in the business of making money, you’ll want to keep a close eye on your favorites and lists. Favorites are the missions and items that you like best, and lists are a great way to keep track of your favorite missions and items.
You can apply three different criteria to your favorites and lists. The first is the type of job you want to specialize in. There are five options: Delivery Man, Drug Dealer, Robber, Smuggler, and Bomber. The second criteria is the type of vehicle you want to use. Again, there are five options, but this time the type of weapons you want to use are also different, so you’ll need to pick a specialization and then choose your vehicle type and weapons from there. The last criteria is the money you want to make. Here, you can choose how much you want to make per week or per day. When you reach the desired amount, you’ll automatically advance to the next level, until you get to the top floor, which is exclusive to paying customers.
You can also create a list for each type of mission that you perform so that you can keep track of your activity in the game. This will help you determine how efficient your strategy is and if you’re making enough money to keep up with your goals.
The Police:
The police are an important part of GTA Online, and they play a vital role in keeping order in the city. Whenever you commit a crime, the police will be on your tail. However, you can also choose to work with the police. This is usually the better option, as long as you don’t already have a bad history with law enforcement.
If you’re on the right track and want to keep progressing, pull up alongside a police officer and hand over your drugs. If you’re carrying a weapon, even better. They’ll usually oblige you, and you won’t be arrested. However, keep in mind that this is usually only temporary relief. The police will still be after you. If you want to keep your freedom, the best course of action is to stay on the right side of the law.
