Sites Make Money Online – What Do You Need to Know?

Most of us have grown accustomed to the idea of making money online, thanks to the rise of click fraud and the explosion of websites that allow for online paid surveys. But what exactly is going on behind the scenes of these websites? How do these money-making opportunities work?

In today’s video, I’ll walk you through the basics of making money online. Specifically, I’ll cover the following topics:

Affiliate Marketing:

This is one of the most popular ways for people to make money online. Basically, you’ll be promoting products (mostly affiliate products) of a company or a brand and when you make a sale, you get a commission. You don’t necessarily need to have a web site to get started with affiliate marketing – you can get a free Amazon account and get started promoting products right away. You’ll find hundreds of thousands of affiliate products to promote, including software, e-books, clothing, and more.

The downsides to affiliate marketing are obviously the many products you need to promote and the fact that you’re indirectly advertising a brand or company you don’t necessarily endorse. But if you’re looking for a way to make money online, this is a pretty easy option.

Paid Surveys:

Just like with affiliate marketing, paid surveys are another popular way to make money online. You’ll be receiving money for completing various online surveys – some of which can be quite lucrative. For example, Toluna will pay you $2 to $5 for each survey you complete. You can make up to $15 per day with Toluna – depending on the length of the survey. It probably doesn’t pay much, if you’re signing up solely to make money online – but for those who want to try it out, it’s a relatively easy way to earn a few extra bucks.

The downside to paid surveys is that you won’t necessarily be making much money online without a very specific niche or topic — it takes a while to build up your earnings. Some people have even said that it’s not really worth it to participate in paid surveys unless you’re in a prestigious business or career. You’ll find a lot of these websites where you can make money online – like Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, OneOpinion, and Ipsos iSay.

Monetizing Your Blog:

Creating a quality blog takes a lot of work and lots of trial and error. Once you build up enough content, however, you can start to look for ways to monetize your blog. The easiest way to do this is with affiliate marketing — but there are a lot of other ways as well. For example, you can try selling and displaying ads on your site. You can create specialized training courses for other websites and online businesses. Or, you can try selling and displaying ads in your blog’s sidebar. There are a lot of different ways to monetize a blog and once you’ve found a method that seems appealing, you can start to build a revenue stream online.

The downside to monetizing your blog is that it takes a lot of work (and a lot of trial and error). If you want to make money online, building a quality blog is the simplest and most reliable way to do it. You’ll have to build up your blog and start getting content regularly published before you can start trying to monetize it. Of course, this is also dependent on you actually being able to make money from the content you’re producing. If this is something you’re looking for, consider blogging as a way to make money online.

The Rise of Click Fraud:

If you’ve ever tried making money online, you’ll most likely have encountered click fraud. This is when a person or a website creates multiple accounts to fake clicks on certain offers – both in and out of context. The person or the website is then paid for the fake clicks. This is a big problem in the affiliate marketing world and a major cause of concern for anybody trying to actually make money online — or running a website with ads.

Affiliate marketing and paid surveys seem like an easy way to make money online — but don’t be fooled. There are a lot of scammers and hackers out there who will try to trick you into paying them for nonexistent products or services. It’s a good idea to do your research before you ever get started with these types of affiliate marketing opportunities – or any other way of making money online for that matter.
